About The Position

ASSYST is seeking an experienced Senior Data Business Analyst to support a client in Austin, Texas. The position is fully remote and involves senior-level business analysis for complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects supporting the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort. The role focuses on data analysis, root cause analysis of data errors, data flow documentation, report development, and publishing data to the DIR Open Data Portal or the client’s website. The analyst works under limited to minimal direction, exercising initiative and independent judgment, and may assign or supervise the work of others. Deliverables and materials must follow established processes and procedures, maintain consistent quality, and use accepted business analysis methodologies.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.
Experience gathering requirements and creating reports.
Experience facilitating the creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business-area personnel to design technical solutions.
Experience participating in and providing guidance on user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.
Experience with Snowflake and Power BI.
Knowledge and background in data publishing.

Responsibilities
