About The Position
The Senior Analyst of Data and Analytics is responsible for developing and supporting business intelligence solutions, which includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders and translating those needs into enterprise reporting and analytics, with attention to internal compliance controls always a top priority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field of study (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
- 4+ years of development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Solid understanding of key analytics and business intelligence trends
- Experience in data modeling concepts (e.g. Star Schema and Data Vault)
- Advanced experience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle or AS400/IBM iSeries)
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with at least one ETL platform (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, DBT)
- Excellent communication, problem solving and data analysis skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cognos Analytics
- Experience using cloud computing to build analytics applications in Azure
- Experience with Agile development methodology
