About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a mid-level to senior Data Analyst to support a Cyber Data Operations team on projects for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs. This individual will be adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems. They will work with both stakeholders and data development teams to understand the data sources being loaded into the organization's Cyber Data Warehouse.

Requirements

Experience as a mid-level to senior Data Analyst
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context
Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

Exposure to SQL and relational databases
Proficiency in Python
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
Understanding of the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) data space
Knowledge of controls testing and how to automate controls testing projects

Responsibilities

Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports
Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools
Work with stakeholders and development teams to understand data sources
Create technical requirements for data ingestion and transformation
