About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst transforms complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. The role owns the process of translating business questions into KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations, with a focus on data quality and storytelling. It works in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and collaborates with cross-functional teams to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a 2-month contractor agreement, with an expected start date during the first week of November. Immediate availability is preferred. The analyst builds and maintains Looker Studio dashboards using BigQuery, works with data hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and uses SQL and Python for analysis, reporting, and automation.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Looker Studio, BigQuery, SQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Advanced SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher); conversational English is required to communicate directly with US stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data into business-oriented insights, narratives, and recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of software development best practices and exposure to modern data platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Immediate availability is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired; equivalent professional experience is also accepted.
• Experience building Looker Studio dashboards, ideally on top of BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards on top of BigQuery to support business decisions.
• Translate business questions into actionable KPIs, metrics, and reports.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for analysis and reporting.
• Use Python to manipulate and analyze data and automate recurring data and reporting tasks.
• Work with data hosted in Google Cloud Platform and other cloud-based data solutions.
• Validate data quality and consistency across sources before publishing insights.
• Present findings, narratives, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analysis within short timelines.
