Senior Data Analyst
About The Position
Step into a high-impact Senior Data Analyst role where your insights will directly shape strategic decisions across the University. You’ll work at the forefront of modern data architecture, leveraging a cutting-edge Lakehouse environment (Databricks / Delta Lake) to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade analytics solutions. This is more than analysis. You’ll influence how data is used across the organisation by applying advanced analytics, data visualisation, and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems. Drawing on your expertise in Python, SQL, and enterprise BI tools such as Power BI, you will transform data into clear, actionable insights that drive planning, performance, and innovation. You will partner with senior stakeholders to lead business situation analysis, identify opportunities, and prototype solutions that deliver tangible value. You’ll plan and develop robust data models and analytical datasets, apply forecasting and statistical techniques to inform future outcomes, and communicate insights through compelling data storytelling. You will also play a key role in advancing data governance by contributing to standards, improving data quality, and supporting the implementation of master data and cataloguing practices. Combining strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills, you’ll translate complex business challenges into practical, data-driven solutions while uplifting organisational capability and embedding best practices.
