Your Mission As a Senior Data Analyst focused on RevOps, you will play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. This is a technical role that is heavily focused on customer retention and expansion. You will support the pre and post-sale motion across account management, customer success, and revenue operations to ensure Engine’s continued growth and customer satisfaction. Data is a core competency of Engine, and your mission is to ensure we leverage our data assets to track customer health, manage renewal risk, and identify expansion revenue opportunities. You will work cross-functionally to get the right data to the right teams, directly influencing the trajectory of the business through actionable insights and repeatable reporting workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Data or Business Analyst with a track record of manipulating and extracting value from datasets.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with Looker/Tableau and Excel/Sheets.
  • Familiarity with key post-sales metrics such as NRR, GRR, churn, expansion rate, health scores, and time-to-value.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, specifically account objects and renewal tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Process-oriented self-starter with a bias for action and an obsession for rigorous work.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Customer Success (CS) platforms like Gainsight or Totango is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the pre and post-sales motion across account management, customer success, and RevOps to drive business value.
  • Track and report on critical post-sales metrics, including customer health, renewal risk, and expansion revenue.
  • Partner with stakeholders across account management, customer success, and RevOps to lead metrics definition, reporting, and analyses.
  • Lead key analytics projects and derive actionable insights to drive better retention and expansion performance.
  • Build and maintain repeatable reporting workflows and data pipelines to track relevant product and business metrics.
  • Manage the company’s business intelligence reporting dashboards to provide visibility into customer health and revenue trends.
