  • Ability to plan and conduct usability tests, identify where users struggle, and turn findings into design improvements. Apply existing user research to inform solutions.
  • Ability to weigh user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and explain the tradeoffs behind your recommendations.
  • Experience applying and contributing to shared design patterns and designing accessible experiences.
  • Ability to work independently within a PM, UX, and Engineering partnership and communicate decisions clearly.

  • Plan and conduct usability tests of concepts and prototypes, refine solutions based on what you observe, and partner with UX researchers when broader questions need investigation.
  • Apply accessible design patterns, contribute improvements to the design system, and work with Engineering to preserve quality through implementation.
  • Assess results with Product and Engineering using measures such as task completion, time spent, and errors. Iterate based on what users do and what the evidence shows.
