About The Position

The Senior Customer Solutions Architect (Sr. CSA) owns the post-sales technical relationship for Fivetran’s most complex and strategic enterprise customers, helping them realize value from the combined Fivetran and dbt platform. Working with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers, the Sr. CSA guides successful deployments and continued adoption, scaling, and expansion. The role serves as a technical account manager and strategic advisor, owning the technical narrative after go-live through architecture strategy, executive-level technical discussions, identification of customer data challenges, and guidance on architecture evolution, adoption, and expansion. The Sr. CSA is accountable for retention and growth, measured by incremental ARR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) across a portfolio of strategic accounts. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. The Sr. CSA also mentors colleagues, develops reusable playbooks and assets, and helps set standards and improve team processes. The position is hybrid and based in Austin, Denver, or New York City, with in-office work required two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday). Candidates must be located in one of those cities and be willing to travel to customers and events as needed.
