About The Position

WaterWipes is seeking a commercially minded insights leader to drive growth across its key accounts: Amazon, Walmart, and Target. This role requires someone who can leverage insights to influence decisions, identify opportunities, and create compelling customer narratives. The position is central to understanding growth drivers, their significance, and the actions needed to achieve results. Reporting to the VP, Customer Strategy & Operations, this role serves as the shopper and category expert for major US customers. It involves close collaboration with Sales, Category & Insights, Analytics, Innovation, and Brand teams to develop category-first growth strategies that enhance the company's standing with Amazon, Walmart, and Target. The primary objective is to transform shopper and category data into actionable commercial recommendations that foster stronger customer relationships, optimize investment, and ensure sustainable growth. As WaterWipes expands, this role is crucial for connecting insights with practical actions and providing a clear, data-driven perspective on future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Career experience in shopper insights, category management, category development, or a related commercial insights function within FMCG or CPG.
  • Experience working with major US retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
  • Ability to use data to tell a story, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions.
  • Skill in simplifying complex information and communicating it effectively to drive action.
  • Experience with category and shopper data platforms such as Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, Profitero, Scintilla, Vendor Central, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of customer-specific category and shopper insights to drive growth with strategic retail partners.
  • Identify trends and understand shopper behavior.
  • Translate complex data into compelling selling stories for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales teams to identify and act on opportunities.
  • Measure the effectiveness of promotions, trade activity, and commercial initiatives.
  • Synthesize multiple data sources into clear recommendations to increase category share and strengthen customer partnerships.
