The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) is seeking a Senior Criminal Justice Data Analytics Consultant to provide temporary leadership and technical support to the Center for Crime and Justice Data and Analytics (CCJDA) during a temporary staffing transition. This is a six-month consulting engagement with the possibility of extension based on agency needs and available funding. The consultant will work closely with Research & Analysis leadership and CCJDA staff to support the production of statewide statistical reports, public-facing dashboards, administrative datasets, and other data products used by policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and the public. The consultant will provide technical oversight and quality assurance for a portfolio of data and reporting projects, including Statistical Analysis Center initiatives funded by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, Justice Counts implementation, Deaths in Custody reporting, Criminal History Record Information audits, and other statewide data initiatives. The consultant will collaborate with research staff, data analysts, information technology personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of high-quality analytical products. This is a primarily remote consulting position. Periodic travel to ICJIA's Chicago office will be required for meetings, project coordination, and other business needs.
