About The Position

Marymount University seeks to create a pool of qualified persons to teach Criminal Justice courses. Qualified applicants will be contacted as a teaching need arises. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or JD is required.
  • 2-3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related discipline.
  • Successful completion of a background check and employment verification, and other role related requirements such as motor vehicle and/or drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching classes as assigned
  • Office hours - Faculty need to be available for at least one additional hour per week for each course taught, to advise students concerning their coursework.

Benefits

  • Adjuncts receive remuneration on a semester basis, and may range from $1,200 - $3,600 per semester, depending on courses taught.
  • May make their own contribution to a 403b retirement plan.
