About The Position

Gusto is seeking a Senior Creative Program Manager to join their Brand Studio team. This role will serve as the connective tissue between the Brand Studio and cross-functional partners in Marketing, PMM, R&D, and Legal. The position reports to the Manager of Creative Operations and will be responsible for executing the operational roadmap, unblocking projects, managing stakeholders, and driving timelines for various launches and integrated campaigns. A key aspect of the role involves establishing, optimizing, and maintaining the team's project infrastructure, including the Brand Studio dashboard and task tracker, and ensuring consistent project management practices. The ideal candidate will bring calm and clarity to complex, fast-changing environments and help scale and optimize processes for a growing in-house creative team.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in creative, marketing, or brand production/project management (in-house or a blend of in-house and agency-side).
  • Hands-on experience running point on multiple active projects, stakeholders, and vendors simultaneously.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-channel integrated campaigns with multiple channel owners, including multiple approval checkpoints and parallel workstreams within a single project.
  • Experience balancing a portfolio of several complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience building and maintaining workback schedules and/or project hubs.
  • Experience helping stand up, optimize, or drive adoption of project management infrastructure such as dashboards, task trackers, or similar systems across a team.
  • Familiarity optimizing and maintaining AI-enabled tools and designing systems from scratch when needed.
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tools for drafting, synthesis, and status updates.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and shifting scope.
  • Experience in an agile, fast-changing environment (integrated campaigns, product marketing, or paid media).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in running retros and improving process (templates, rituals, small workflow automations).

  • Experience with AI-native creative organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, PMM, Legal, R&D) across active projects, including running updates, unblocking work, and escalating issues.
  • Build and maintain creative workback schedules, ensuring the project source of truth is current with scope, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships end-to-end, including contractor paperwork, PO management, onboarding, and production coordination.
  • Own the legal & compliance review pipeline for projects, including submitting requests, tracking disclosures, and managing feedback.
  • Flag risks and dependencies early across creative projects and escalate to leadership.
  • Schedule and run feedback checkpoints from internal critiques and stakeholder reviews to leadership sign-offs, consolidating feedback.
  • Coordinate production logistics for shoots, agency staffing, on-site support, and related stakeholder management.
  • Help stand up, optimize, and maintain the team's AI-enabled project infrastructure, including the Brand Studio dashboard and task tracker.
  • Run retros and drive process improvements for better templates, tighter rituals, and workflow automations.
