About The Position

Doncasters is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant / Financial Analyst to join its team in Oxford, Alabama. The role combines manufacturing cost-accounting expertise with forward-looking financial analysis and business partnership. Working closely with the Finance Director, Accounting Manager, General Manager, and Operations leadership, the position translates financial and operational data into actionable business insights, strengthens financial controls, and supports profitable growth. The broader role is suited to someone who can analyze complex financial and operational issues, identify trends and risks, develop recommendations, and communicate conclusions effectively to Finance and operational leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong manufacturing cost-accounting knowledge, including standard costing, inventory accounting, metal cost impact, and material, labor, and overhead variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capabilities.
• Experience working with ERP systems and large financial and operational data sets.
