About The Position

Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is the largest franchisee of the SealMaster®/GemSeal® brand and a national leader in pavement maintenance manufacturing and distribution. We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support PMG's continued growth and evolution through accurate financial reporting, strong regional partnership, and disciplined accounting practices across the business. This is a senior-level corporate accounting role with visibility across the organization and multi-region exposure supporting manufacturing and distribution operations. It is ideal for CPA or CPA-track professionals 4–9 years into their career, with a valued background in public accounting, manufacturing/cost accounting, or a blended background. The position is Charlotte-based, initially onsite with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up.

Requirements

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• 3-4 years of manufacturing or cost accounting experience, or a blend of both
• CPA or actively working toward CPA
• Ability to partner closely with regional accountants
• Ability to step in during high-pressure close periods
• Ability to help ensure work continues moving forward when teams are stretched
• Integrity, accountability, and follow-through
• Clear communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities across multiple regions, including reviewing accruals, allocations, reconciliations, and intercompany activity.
• Analyze inventory, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support audits, sales tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Provide hands-on support to regional accounting teams.
• Understand the why behind the numbers, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute ideas that improve close processes, reporting, and systems.
• Support NetSuite workflows or participate in broader efforts around automation, analytics, and scalability.
