The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for assisting with the finance and accounting functions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, financial reporting, tax, and audit.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related discipline
  • Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Effective self-management and project management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks Software
  • Ability to execute all aspects of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions
  • Highly organized with well-developed planning, analytical, and effective decision-making skills
  • Ability to function in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines consistently
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and general office equipment
  • Correctable vision and hearing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner

Responsibilities

  • Enter Accounts Payable and complete Weekly Check Run
  • Enter Accounts Receivable and work directly with client leads on AR collections
  • Full cycle general ledger analysis
  • Balance sheet analysis / flux explanations
  • Completes client profitability analysis as well as monitors time tracking/hours recorded by employees in order to calculate client profitability
  • Keeps the internal books and prepares monthly management accounts including assigned ad-hoc reporting for various staff
  • Manages bank accounts and send wires including international wires for management fees, settle interco, etc.
  • Assists with the detailed internal accounting
  • Assists with annual financial statement audit
  • Coordinates the completion and deliverance of 1099s at the end of the year
  • Provides support related to tax numbers
  • Assists with renewing business insurance/benefit lines on an annual basis
  • Completes other duties as assigned
