About The Position
J.Crew is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for various accounting processes, including month-end close for marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash, and accruals. The position also involves maintaining Fixed Asset accounting, managing gift card holding company books and reconciliations, coordinating with FP&A, ensuring audit compliance, and supporting management with ad hoc projects and analysis.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of related accounting experience.
- Strong MS Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, etc).
- Strong analytic, problem solving and reporting skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communications skills.
Nice To Haves
- SAP Experience preferred, not required.
- CPA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end close processes related to marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash and various corporate accruals.
- Maintain accounting for Fixed Assets across the company.
- Maintain books and records for gift card holding company including preparing and analyzing gift card reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Financial Planning & Analysis regarding monthly close and planning and forecast cycles.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Ad hoc projects and analysis that supports decision making of management.
