About The Position

At VML, a WPP company, we're looking for a Senior Copywriter who believes the best brand stories are rooted in human truths. You'll craft compelling, inclusive narratives that connect with audiences on a deeper level, turning complex business challenges into clear, resonant creative solutions. In this role, you'll partner closely with art directors, strategists, and clients to shape the voice of global brands — ensuring every word drives meaningful impact and reflects our Human First values.

Requirements

  • A robust portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and polished copywriting across multiple platforms and formats.
  • Proven experience leading creative projects from initial briefing through to final production and delivery.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate creative rationale to stakeholders and clients.
  • A deep understanding of how to adapt tone and voice for different brands, audiences, and digital channels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for mentoring emerging creative talent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and writing of integrated campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels, ensuring brand voice is consistent and compelling.
  • Partner with art directors, designers, and strategists to build cohesive creative platforms that solve client challenges and elevate the audience experience.
  • Articulate the strategic why behind your creative choices, confidently sharing ideas with internal teams and client partners to build trust and alignment.
  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback to junior writers and creatives, fostering an environment where craft and conceptual thinking can thrive.
  • Ensure all copy and messaging is accessible, culturally resonant, and free of bias — reflecting a deep understanding of diverse audiences.
