Provides support in ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue flow, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive enrollment and insurance verification for patients or members, gathering the necessary information to confirm coverage, policy details, and eligibility.
  • Analyzes insurance plans and policies to determine the extent of coverage for various medical procedures, treatments, medications, or services.
  • Ensures compliance with industry-specific regulations, laws, and contractual obligations related to insurance verification.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize insurance verification processes.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to patients or members throughout the insurance verification process by addressing inquiries, concerns, and disputes related to coverage or benefits in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Communicates with insurance providers, brokers, or third-party administrators to obtain accurate and timely insurance information.
  • Performs quality assurance checks on insurance verification processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handles complex insurance verification cases that may involve high-value claims, specialized services, or challenging coverage scenarios.
  • Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to junior insurance verification employees by assisting with training initiatives, knowledge sharing, and performance evaluations to develop and enhance the skills and competencies of the team.
