About The Position

The Senior Coordinator supports the Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) and a high-volume communications team that works with many colleagues across University Advancement and our campus to advance key marketing communications priorities. Duties for the team include complex calendaring, budget and expense tracking, travel/meeting/event arrangements, preparing meeting agendas, managing ARCH and Click-up activity as assigned, and special projects for the AVC. This is a strategically important position that has a huge impact on the productivity of Advancement Communications and on University Advancement’s ability to communicate effectively with alumni, parents, and friends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years)
  • Ability to relate well to other staff, administrators, and external university constituencies.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and mission of Washington University; must understand the importance of university relationships with alumni, parents, and friends.
  • A desire to play a meaningful role in the University’s community and to share in the community’s commitment to research and education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist AVC with a range of projects, scheduling meetings, paying vendors, budget management, and various types of creative/competitive research.
  • Office-management responsibilities such as project coordination and management.
  • Communications responsibilities such as proofreading and creating power point presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
