About The Position

This role involves supporting the delivery of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) implementation engagements. The analyst will assist with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities. Key responsibilities include collaborating with clients and project teams to document business processes, identify reporting requirements, and support ESG reporting initiatives. The role also involves developing project deliverables such as functional documentation, status reports, testing materials, and training resources. The analyst will conduct client workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings, monitor project milestones, manage workstreams, and identify risks and issues. A crucial aspect of the role is researching evolving ESG regulations, reporting standards, and industry trends, as well as staying informed on Workiva platform capabilities to support client implementations.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of consulting, ESG reporting, financial reporting, compliance, technology implementation, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Sustainability, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with Workiva, particularly ESG, GRC, or Financial Reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting one or more full lifecycle system implementations.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including GRI, SASB Standards, ISSB, CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity supporting ESG disclosure questionnaires and reporting programs, such as CDP, EcoVadis, S&P Global CSA, MSCI, Sustainalytics, or similar sustainability assessments.
  • Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Experience tracking project milestones, managing action items, and supporting stakeholder communications.
  • Exposure to sustainability reporting, ESG programs, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, or regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
