About The Position

IQVIA Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tech to work remotely within the US and report electronically to the Wayne, PA office. This role involves collaborating with business users to define requirements, leading the design and development of MDM or Data Warehouse solutions, and supporting the integration of a large revenue management platform. The consultant will drive the integration of pharma revenue management and contracting software platforms (Model N), develop and test software code, manage code migration and deployment, and perform data analysis using Model N's proprietary database. Expertise in ETL tools and Model N systems is crucial for dataflows and transformations. The role also includes ensuring client satisfaction with operations schedules and SLAs, evaluating technical business challenges, analyzing client data for flaws, generating extracts for BI applications, developing operational documentation, and supporting User Acceptance Testing. Automation of manual analytics, evaluation of existing software, and suggestion of improvements are also key responsibilities. The Senior Consultant will work closely with technical leads, project managers, architects, and business stakeholders, fostering client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact for client inquiries.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent.
Five (5) years of revenue management or contracting experience within the life sciences domain.
Five (5) years experience with Model N Revenue Management System.
Five (5) years experience with Cloud Technologies such as Databricks and AWS.
Five (5) years experience writing and understanding code in Python.
Five (5) years experience writing PySpark code involving multi-stage transformations and Custom ETL logic using PySpark.
Five (5) years experience writing analytical SQL queries, data intensive and performance tuned queries & programming in PL/SQL.
Five (5) years experience creating data pipelines using PySpark and SQL with real time and batch components.
Five (5) years experience with Model N – Powered by N.
Five (5) years experience utilizing knowledge of cloud native and serverless – first distributed systems.
Five (5) years experience working on cloud data migration and data integration projects.

Responsibilities

Work with business users to elicit functional and technical requirements on assigned health and life science industry projects.
Lead the overall design and development of the MDM or Data warehouse solutions/applications.
Support solutions integration for a large revenue management platform and develop integration specification documentation.
Drive integration of pharma revenue management and contracting software platforms (Model N).
Develop and unit test software code, migrate code to multiple environments, and deploy code and implement systems into production.
Utilize analytics expertise to perform data analysis using knowledge of Model N proprietary database to identify potential gaps in mappings.
Provide ETL Tools and Model N system subject matter expertise related to dataflows and data transformation.
Ensure Operations Schedule and Service level Agreements are as per client satisfaction.
Evaluate technical business challenges and analyze client data to detect potential business data flaws.
Generate extract for downstream BI application.
Develop operational Run books and Operational Calendars.
Conduct and support User Acceptance Testing and reporting results.
Automate manual analytics wherever possible, evaluate existing software applications, determine technical issues and suggest improvements.
Work with senior Technical leads, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Business Stakeholders and co-ordinate with different teams.
Foster client relationships and serve as key point of contact to answer business questions from clients.
