Within Intelligent Industry's Supply Chain Advisory practice, we help Automotive organizations transform supply chains into intelligent, resilient, and digitally enabled value networks. We partner with OEMs, mobility providers, suppliers, and manufacturing organizations to redesign operating models, improve planning and execution, strengthen resilience, and unlock business value through analytics, AI, automation, and digital transformation. We help clients address challenges such as supply chain disruption, supplier risk, inventory optimization, production volatility, electrification, battery ecosystems, and AI-enabled decision making across the end-to-end Automotive value chain.

Requirements

  • Strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understanding of how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation.
  • Ability to identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness.
  • Experience working in AI-augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions.
  • Solid understanding of responsible AI principles such as ethics, privacy, security, and governance.
  • Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.
  • 4-7 years of consulting and/or industry experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or transformation-related roles.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives across multiple functional domains.
  • Understanding of Automotive supply chain processes across planning, supplier management, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and fulfillment.
  • Experience conducting business assessments, process analysis, operating model evaluations, or transformation diagnostics.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience developing business cases, transformation recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to translate complex data and analysis into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Exposure to analytics, automation, AI, GenAI, or digital transformation initiatives within supply chain environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Automotive OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2, mobility, or industrial manufacturing organizations.
  • Familiarity with production planning, supplier collaboration, inventory optimization, manufacturing operations, transportation, and distribution networks.
  • Exposure to electrification, battery supply chains, connected manufacturing, or next-generation mobility ecosystems.
  • Experience with digital supply chain platforms, control towers, planning solutions, or supply chain analytics tools.
  • APICS/ASCM certification, Lean Six Sigma certification, MBA, or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end supply chain transformation engagements spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and fulfillment.
  • Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, service, working capital, and operational efficiency.
  • Assess supply chain operating models, organizational capabilities, and business processes to identify transformation opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, transformation recommendations, future-state operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Help clients improve supply chain visibility, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and operational resilience.
  • Apply analytics, AI, GenAI, and automation capabilities to improve forecasting, planning, decision making, and performance management.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and working sessions to align business priorities, transformation objectives, and value realization goals.
  • Collaborate across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and technology teams to support integrated supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, analyses, and recommendations that support strategic decision making.
  • Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, capability development, and innovation initiatives across the Supply Chain Advisory practice.
