About The Position

Guidehouse’s Health IT Solutions team partners with clients to improve technology outcomes through IT strategy, operational enhancements, and adoption of key technology initiatives. By leveraging proven health system IT best practices and data-driven insights, Guidehouse supports IT operational improvement and technology adoption across departments and service lines. The Senior Consultant will support Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts to drive successful adoption of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems within complex healthcare environments. This role contributes to large-scale, government-sponsored EHR modernization initiatives by supporting the alignment of people, processes, and technology to enable effective and sustainable transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, healthcare IT, or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to Organizational Change Management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) or relevant experience
  • Experience supporting at least one EHR implementation or similar transformation initiative
  • Basic understanding of clinical and operational workflows in hospital or health system settings
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Organizational Change Management, or Business Administration
  • Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic, MEDITECH, or other major EHR platforms
  • Experience supporting government or public health initiatives
  • Familiarity with behavioral health, pharmacy, or correctional health workflows

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies for EHR implementation projects
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement, communications, and training activities to promote user adoption and minimize resistance
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments, workflow analyses, and impact assessments
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, and government stakeholders to support alignment with project goals and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of communication plans and training materials for diverse audiences
  • Track and report on change management activities, risks, and progress
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing across project teams
