Requirements

  • Graduate/MBA in Finance.
  • Blackline Certification (Financial Close 1 & 2 - Account Reconciliation, Task, JV, ICH and Matching module), Smart Close, API / Connectors & Reporting.
  • Candidates with FNA domain expertise with extensive work experience in Process Improvement/ Transformation / Automation.
  • Well-versed with process discovery/diagnostics, to be design/blueprinting activities etc. and savvy with Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and other collaboration tools.
  • Strong team player who thrives when working in a fast-paced, high-energy, and project-oriented environment and accustomed to driving outcomes.
  • Business acumen and strong result orientation.
  • Must be a domain expert in various R2R processes from inputs to Solutions.
  • Well-versed with digital R2R technologies and tools, automation, analytics etc.
  • Understand, propose, and pitch the key levers/differentiators to new/existing customers for transformation journeys.
  • Prior experience in handling at least 2 to 3 BL/Cadency/ implementation/optimization projects independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 12+ years of experience.

  • Exposure to F&A qualifications – Certified Accountant/ MBA Finance etc. is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key opportunity areas with client processes and lead projects to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as dedicated SMEs to bridge the gap between Operations and Capabilities, ensuring smooth operations for vertical operations.
  • Provide end-to-end implementation experience in Blackline (Account Reconciliation, Task, JV, and Matching module).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Smart Close process.
  • Build Blackline Reports based on Business Requirements.
  • Formulate improvement plans based on wastes and variations identified during analysis.
  • Contribute and present in client reviews and meetings.
  • Work closely with operations teams to collect data and assess the current situation.
  • Remove barriers to progress through Blackline Optimization.
  • Introduce different innovative concepts.
  • Achieve Quality Savings and Productivity targets.
  • Provide Domain Expertise for Hunting Solution alignment, farming (Upsell & Cross-sell), and BAU activities.
  • Perform Proactive Account Remediation before issues escalate to leadership.
  • Provide Proactive Data collection & Analyst support for the vertical.
  • Establish standards and ensure the efficiency roadmap for R2R is delivered, working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Align with the Global R2R Tower lead for outside-in views and provide feedback to the Tower lead on inside-out gaps and challenges.
  • Participate in special/strategic projects from time to time.
  • Conduct diagnostics, solution design validation, or due diligence exercises.
  • Manage end-to-end pre-sales activities for digital capabilities, including identifying opportunities, pitching digital solutions, solution building, and business case creation.
  • Understand client digital transformation needs and consult/provide customized solutions, developing business cases.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments within the company and lead the overall transformation journey for clients.
  • Coach and mentor existing and new Blackline resources.
  • Manage end-to-end projects independently.
