About The Position

Fluidstack is looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to drive the planning, budgeting, and risk-management engine behind global data centers. This role involves turning capacity targets into executable project plans and keeping all stakeholders aligned from kickoff to customer handover. The company is focused on delivering gigawatts of compute infrastructure for AI at an unprecedented speed and scale, rethinking every layer of the stack from power acquisition to data center operation. The construction team is tasked with building data centers faster than anyone, inventing new methods for constructing gigawatts, and productizing the data center for repeatable, modular builds. This role requires extreme ownership, velocity, first principles thinking, and a passion for the AI frontier, often involving long hours at high intensity.

Requirements

Led project management on hyperscale data center, large industrial, or infrastructure builds, delivering fast-track projects across multiple geographies.
Deep knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, procurement workflows, and cost controls.
Expertise with scheduling (P6, MS Project), cost (Procore, Ares, Excel), and collaboration (Smartsheet, Confluence) tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with executives and trades alike.
Experience building and scaling project teams across regions and time zones.
Ability to align technical and commercial stakeholders under shared goals.
Willingness to travel 80-100% to active sites.

PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
Construction management qualification.
Multi-region fast-track delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Drive the planning, budgeting, and risk-management engine behind global data centers, turning capacity targets into executable project plans and keeping every stakeholder aligned from kickoff to customer handover.
Build integrated schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, and own the master construction schedule from site mobilization through substantial completion and turnover.
Own project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and change-order governance, and report earned-value KPIs weekly.
Facilitate phase-gate and design reviews, maintain RACI matrices and action logs, and manage contract lifecycles: RFP, bid analysis, award, PCO tracking, and close-out.
Identify critical-path and long-lead risks (transformers, chillers, switchgear) and drive mitigation, and act as the single source of truth for internal leadership and external partners.
Lead cross-functional delivery teams (project managers, construction managers, superintendents), develop staffing plans, and run standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
