About The Position

TYLin is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector for its growing PMCM team in Indianapolis. The role involves inspecting water and wastewater distribution and underground utility projects, including watermain and lead service line replacements, as well as sewer and manhole lining projects. The inspector serves as the Owner’s representative, observing, inspecting, and documenting construction work and verifying compliance with design plans, specifications, and permit requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a construction-related field experience, or equivalent field experience.
8–10+ years of experience in water or transportation engineering consulting, performing studies, design, and construction services for municipal, state, or private clients.
Experience using GSP equipment.

Responsibilities

Observe, inspect, and document underground utility construction as an Owner’s representative.
Ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and permit requirements.
Document contractor progress and maintain accurate quantity records.
Process payment requests.
Generate punch lists and certify completion status.
Create and track work orders for each project.
