Requirements

Must have a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 4+ years of direct related experience (additional experience can reduce or negate the requirement for a degree)
Knowledge of components used in the Electronics Industry
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on a cross-functional team
US Citizen

Nice To Haves

Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Past experience as a Component or Application Engineer
Experience with creating part specifications
Familiar with industry standards (IPC, ASTM, JEDEC)

Responsibilities

Be responsible for creating and maintaining component data
Work with a variety of components and materials used in military airborne tactical radios
Provide technical leadership to Design Engineers, Purchasing, Quality & Program Managers to resolve component issues regarding obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages or failures
Perform BOM Analysis on new designs
Provide technical support in the resolution of complex commodity issues in a design and manufacturing environment
Create and update documentation needed to support Program requirements
