This position serves as the primary investigator on fatality and other complex enforcement inspections, working mainly in the field. It involves independently performing complex and comprehensive industrial hygiene and occupational safety inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with adopted OSHA standards. The role also provides occupational health and safety compliance assistance to Ohio public employers and employees, identifying existing or potential safety and health hazards and/or facilitating compliance with adopted Ohio Employment Risk Reduction Standards in Ohio Revised Code & Ohio Administrative Code chapter 4167. The State of Ohio is a drug-free workplace. This position may require travel and the ability to provide one's own transportation or legally operate a state-owned vehicle. Educational transcripts are required for screening.
