About The Position

The Compliance Function at Accesa is dedicated to promoting and maintaining adherence to laws, regulations, and the company’s internal policies. We aim to ensure that all employees, business partners, and processes operate with integrity and in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Our overarching responsibility is to provide guidance and support to the entire organisation to ensure everyone is fully equipped for identifying and addressing ethical and regulatory issues and risks. This role involves managing various aspects of compliance, including ESG framework, policy management, gifts and perks guidance, due diligence and risk management, contract review, conflict of interest management, business conduct guidance, and ISO certificates access.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Compliance Risk Management.
  • Understanding of compliance risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of the role of the second line of defense in overseeing compliance risk management.
  • Ability to prepare structured documentation, control reports, dashboards and presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Economics, legal - high-level studies
  • Previous experience in compliance functions: minimum 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Act as SPOC and resolve operational issues arising during the contract review process and maintain stakeholder relationships to support adoption and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with company approval and signature rules within the IT application (incl. implementation, testing, and update communications).
  • Deliver periodical and ad-hoc trainings on this topic, as per company's onboarding process, or stakeholders' needs.
  • Maintain and periodically review the COI policy, procedure, governance (RACI/escalation matrix), forms, and controls; drive implementation and change management.
  • Keep the COI tracker, shared controls tracker, and related documentation accurate, complete, and up to date, with appropriate access and retention controls.
  • Run periodic COI controls and effectiveness checks (sampling, timeliness, mitigation verification) and follow up on remediation actions.
  • Own and operate the Policy Governance Framework (policy hierarchy, templates, metadata, naming, approval levels, review cadence, retirement/archiving).
  • Act as Policy Owner for Compliance-owned policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Compliance Governance, Policy Governance Standard), including drafting, periodic review, stakeholder consultation, approval submission, and publication.
  • Keep up-to-date the policy intranet space and policy tracker, and communicate changes.
  • Serve as SPOC for Policy Owners/contributors: guidance on governance rules, templates, workflow steps, and quality expectations.
  • Own and maintain the RIA process, templates, guidance, and artefacts; ensure version control and retention.
  • Maintain the risk mitigation measures tracker and ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
  • Act as SPOC for Regulatory Area Owner(s) for RIA support and clarifications.
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready due diligence files (evidence, risk assessments, decision rationale, approvals/conditions) in line with retention and access requirements.
  • Perform risk-based due diligence screening for clients, suppliers, subcontractors, partners, intermediaries, and relevant individuals (e.g., UBOs/key principals), by running check that include sanctions/restricted parties, adverse media, jurisdiction/country risk, ownership/UBO structure, and review of Code of Conduct/anti-corruption commitments and relevant certifications.
  • Consolidate findings and produce a documented recommendation (approve / approve with conditions / reject).
  • Maintain and operationalize the Business Ethics framework (e.g., Code of Conduct, gifts & hospitality, anti bribery/anti-corruption), ensuring consistent interpretation and application across the company.
  • Produce management reporting and metrics on ethics KPIs (training completion, disclosures, controls results, recurring issues, remediation status), including ad-hoc analyses for leadership and risk stakeholders.
  • Provide ethics advisory and escalation management for employees and managers (incl. case assessment, recommended mitigating measures, and stakeholder coordination with other Functions when required).
  • Develop the annual Compliance activity roadmap, integrating regulatory changes and defining priorities, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Monitor implementation progress of the approved plan and report deviations or significant updates to governance bodies.
  • Demonstrates interest in the evolution of artificial intelligence-based technologies and continuously familiarizes with tools and practices relevant to their role, contributing to increasing the efficiency, quality, and productivity of the work carried out.
  • Uses AI responsibly and in accordance with the organization's policies.
  • Depending on organisational needs and skills, they may also take on related responsibilities specific to similar or complementary roles (same family of skills), to ensure continuity of activity, effective collaboration, and achievement of team and organisational objectives.
  • Act as SPOC and resolve operational issues arising during annual sustainability reporting, periodical EcoVadis certification.
