About The Position

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Community Manager to join our Hyundai team! We don't just look for fresh talent; we look for fresh thinkers! We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal. Our ideal candidate has 2 years experience in community management or social media management in advertising agency environment. To help manage the social voice of one of the largest car companies in the world and assist in building and managing a cohesive social media strategy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in community management or social media management in advertising agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of using social media in personal or professional setting
  • Experience with social media tools such as, but not limited to, Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Netbase and/or Digimind
  • Proficiency with key social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat with a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities
  • Analytic thinking; ability to extrapolate insights and key learnings that will impact creative strategies/concepts in real-time
  • Ability to collaborate with various agency teams
  • Ability to uncover powerful insights that drive ideas (big and small) by understanding the entire brand context
  • Understanding of social media and the online space
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

  • Be the day-to-day social community manager for Hyundai USA [HMA] representing the social voice of the brand
  • Monitor all channels for positive/negative engagement; manage proactive engagement outreach and work with the HMA Customer Care team to resolve concerns
  • Distill conversations happening across all social channels to identify key posts and emerging trends and opportunities for the brand
  • Responsible for building audience within platform, planning and developing shareable content, participating and building relationships directly with fans and influencers, keeping the community engaged, and providing ongoing metrics tracking and optimization recommendations
  • Manage deployment of all HMA social media content, including publishing content on the brand’s various channels and sharing out content decks with collaborative partner teams
  • Provide content and copy recommendations for ad-hoc social media posts
  • Assist the Social Media Strategist with campaign brief and posting deck development, organization and execution
  • Assist with influencer/creator campaign strategy and execution
  • Report on both performance of HMA content in social space, as well as larger trends, consumer sentiment, and competitors
  • Demonstrates an understanding of client campaigns and associated goals; works closely with Account and Strategy team to ensure that all questions are addressed, and all relevant campaign materials are obtained
  • Work with HMA brand team, as well as across disciplines, to ensure a holistic, connected brand focus
