About The Position

Epic Asset Management is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Community Manager to oversee the operations and performance of our multi-family residential communities. This leadership role is designed for an experienced property management professional who can drive operational success, enhance resident satisfaction, and mentor on-site teams to their fullest potential. The Senior Community Manager plays a crucial role in executing Epic's mission to provide high-quality, sustainable workforce housing while optimizing financial performance and fostering a positive company culture.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in multi-family property management with a proven track record of leadership and results.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, financial reporting, and strategic forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite) and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
  • Experience managing multiple properties or large-scale communities.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives in property management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Community Managers and on-site teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts to build strong property management teams.
  • Implement leadership development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and succession planning.
  • Set clear expectations and deliver performance evaluations that align with company goals and values.
  • Supervise daily operations across multiple properties to ensure adherence to company standards and budget objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance asset value, reduce operational costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, safety regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to maintain property conditions and enhance curb appeal.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget creation, rent collections, and expense control, ensuring revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends and financial data to inform pricing strategies and investment decisions.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide ownership and executive-level reporting on financial performance and operational metrics.
  • Champion an exceptional resident experience through service excellence and proactive communication.
  • Oversee marketing and leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy and minimize turnover.
  • Develop and execute community engagement initiatives to foster a positive living environment.
  • Address escalated resident concerns with professionalism and solutions-driven problem-solving.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Epic Asset Management and property owners, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for property improvements, capital expenditures, and long-term asset planning.
  • Conduct regular property evaluations and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Represent Epic Asset Management with professionalism and integrity in all external interactions.
