About The Position

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Community Manager to join our Genesis team! We don't just look for fresh talent; we look for fresh thinkers! We are a hybrid workplace, currently x3 days week in-office. Local candidate only please. We are looking for an explorer in search of our clients’ next big discovery! Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in community management or social media management in advertising agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of using social media in personal or professional setting
  • Experience with social media tools such as, but not limited to, Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Netbase and/or Digimind
  • Proficiency with key social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat with a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities
  • Analytic thinking; ability to extrapolate insights and key learnings that will impact creative strategies/concepts in real-time
  • Ability to collaborate with various agency teams
  • Ability to uncover powerful insights that drive ideas (big and small) by understanding the entire brand context
  • Understanding of social media and the online space
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to uncover powerful insights that drive ideas (big and small) by understanding the entire brand context

Responsibilities

  • Be the day-to-day social community manager for Genesis Motor America, publishing content on the brand’s channels and representing the social voice of the brand
  • Distill conversations happening across all social channels to identify key posts and emerging trends – opportunities for the brand
  • Work with Genesis brand team, as well as across disciplines, to ensure a holistic, connected brand focus
  • Report on both performance of Genesis content in social space, as well as larger trends, consumer sentiment, and competitors
  • Responsible for building audience within platform, planning and developing shareable content, participating and building relationships directly with fans and influencers, keeping the community engaged, and providing ongoing metrics tracking and optimization recommendations
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client campaigns and associated goals; works closely with Account and Strategy team to ensure that all questions are addressed, and all relevant campaign materials are obtained
