About The Position

ABB is hiring a Senior Commissioning Technician to execute service work according to agreed workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines. The role delivers customer service and works closely with customers and ABB teams to identify new service business opportunities. It is remote and based in Cleveland, Ohio, with travel of up to 80%. The technician leads complex field service activities, supports safe and environmentally responsible work at customer sites, and coaches team members and customers. The position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 8 years of experience.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence, effective communication, problem solving, teamwork, customer focus, and a professional attitude.
Computer skills and hardware experience.
Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead complex site field service activities while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
Identify new service business opportunities in partnership with customers and cross-functional teams.
Act as a technical trainer and coach for team members and customers.
Work with customers onsite to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points.
Apply safety rules and safe practices, along with environmental responsibilities, during service activities.
Lead Health, Safety, and Environment activities at customer sites and report unsafe practices and incidents.
Execute service work according to agreed workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines.
Deliver customer service to satisfy customers.
