About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Auto Relationship Manager for Specialized Industries in Commercial Auto as part of the Commercial Bank. In this role, you will independently develop, retain, and grow moderately complex client relationships and lead a team. You will leverage a solid understanding of relationship management, client needs, and financial decision-makers to respond quickly, communicate proactively, manage expectations, and solicit feedback. You will also lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex loans by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers. You will offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions to meet client needs, engaging product organizations and leveraging your understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, and financial positions. You will independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives, guide your team, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. You will collaborate with peers and managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives, helping clients navigate Wells Fargo’s processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. You may also lead projects, teams, or mentor colleagues. Additionally, you will drive relationship planning, maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new clients. You will partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs for credit solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years working with retail franchise automotive dealerships to provide lending solutions, inventory financing, and floor plan financing.
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships, such as Treasury Management, WIM, and Indirect Retail.
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market segment.
  • Completion of formal credit training program.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develop, retain, and grow moderately complex client relationships and lead team.
  • Lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions within Commercial Banking.
  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients.
  • Independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives and guide team to meet deliverables within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively.
