About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Auto Relationship Manager for Specialized Industries in Commercial Auto as part of the Commercial Bank. In this role, you will independently develop, retain, and grow moderately complex client relationships and lead a team. You will leverage a solid understanding of relationship management, client needs, and financial decision-makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback. You will also lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash flow, real estate loans, and other industry-specific solutions within Commercial Banking by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute more complex transactions. You will review, understand, and offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients, engaging product organizations to develop client-specific solutions and leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions. You will independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives and guide your team to meet deliverables within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group, understanding relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, helping clients navigate Wells Fargo’s processes, escalating client inquiries when needed, and identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements. You may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues. You will drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems. You will support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients by cultivating relationships through existing networks. You will partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years working with retail franchise automotive dealerships to provide lending solutions, inventory financing, and floor plan financing.
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships, such as Treasury Management, WIM, and Indirect Retail.
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market segment.
  • Completion of formal credit training program.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
