About The Position

The Senior Commercial Analyst drives end-to-end commercial performance analytics across the sales funnel, delivering insights that improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, conversion performance, and executive decision-making for the Clinical Supply Services business unit. The Bridgewater, New Jersey office serves as a key commercial hub within Catalent’s global organization, supporting strategic collaboration across Business Development, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Executive Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, revenue operations, FP&A, financial planning, or a similarly data-driven analytical role.
  • Strong experience analyzing sales funnels, pipeline performance, forecasting models, revenue trends, and conversion metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI/reporting tools (Power BI or Tableau), and CRM-based data analysis.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into clear business insights, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and influence decision-making through strong financial and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end commercial performance reporting across the global sales funnel, providing visibility into pipeline progression, conversion trends, backlog pacing, and revenue impact.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models that support quarterly and annual revenue planning, using commercial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Business Development, and Commercial Operations leadership to translate complex data into executive-ready insights and actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and performance analytics that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and leadership decision-making across the global Clinical Supply Services network.
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial analytics processes, helping establish a more unified and reliable view of commercial performance across segments.
