About The Position

Penske Media Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Collection Specialist to manage accounts receivable for several digital and print media subsidiaries. This role will collaborate with the Accounting/Finance team, Account Executives, and Agencies to minimize the time between invoice billing and payment collection. PMC values in-person collaboration, with employees working onsite four days a week and one day remotely, focusing on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of Collection and/or Accounts Receivable experience
• Detail oriented
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel

• Bank Accounts & Credit Card Reconciliations
• Print and/or digital media experience

Responsibilities

• Contacting customers for payment of past due invoices via verbal and written communication
• Research and resolve billing/collection related issues to ensure prompt resolution and payment
• Reconcile the account receivable ledger to determine accurate posting of payments
• Follow-up on inquiries, negotiate with past due accounts, and recommend accounts for outside collections agency referral
• Processing invoices via client portal
• Provide assistance to the invoice/billing team with cash applications
• Work closely with Collection Manager and Management to track collection efforts and respond to requests regarding account information and/or analysis
• Prepare and distribute weekly reporting via Excel
• Prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
