About The Position
MANTECH is seeking a highly technical and mission-focused Senior CNO Software Engineer to join its team in Hanover, Maryland. The role develops advanced CNO capabilities in support of national security and customer missions, working collaboratively to address complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline and 14 or more years of technical work experience, or a high school diploma and 18 or more years of technical work experience.
- Experience programming in Python or C/C++.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices.
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming.
- Experience developing CNO capabilities.
- Must hold a current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph before starting, if required.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience programming in assembly languages.
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
- Manage the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems.
- Apply expert knowledge of security concepts and network technologies.
- Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
