About The Position
MANTECH seeks an experienced, mission-focused Senior CNO Developer to join its team in Hanover, Maryland, or Aurora, Colorado. The role contributes to the development of mission-critical cyber capabilities and leads advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) efforts and technical excellence. The developer works with a team on next-generation solutions to safeguard national security systems.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of technical work experience, a master's degree in a technical discipline and at least 6 years of technical work experience, or a high school diploma and at least 12 years of technical work experience.
- Experience with Python and C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices.
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming.
- Experience developing CNO capabilities.
- Experience leading technical CNO solutions.
- Current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance, and willingness and ability to obtain another polygraph before starting if required.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.
- Experience with assembly language programming.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new hardware- or software-based Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities.
- Manage the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
- Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools.
- Apply expert knowledge of network and security concepts to support capability development.
- Communicate status updates and technical progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure software quality and compliance with development standards.
