About The Position

A CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) Equipment and Installation Engineer is responsible for the setup, calibration, and maintenance of precision polishing systems used to planarize semiconductor wafers. They ensure that equipment is installed according to strict technical specifications and optimized for maximum yield and stability in a cleanroom environment. Their primary goal is to minimize defects and maintain precise surface flatness through rigorous hardware troubleshooting and process validation.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, electrical schematics
• Demonstrated ability to be successful with physical interaction with hardware
• Certification or documented training in LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and OSHA (or equivalent regional) general industry safety standards
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in equipment commissioning, field service, or industrial maintenance
