About The Position

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the design, implementation, automation, and operation of modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms that support our Next-Generation Infrastructure strategy. You'll be responsible for how cloud platforms are built, automated, governed, and operated, while still remaining hands-on.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant information technology experience, including Cloud Engineering experience.
Demonstrated progression from execution-focused engineering responsibilities to design-oriented technical leadership.
Experience operating cloud platforms in enterprise production environments.
Strong knowledge of hybrid identity, networking, security fundamentals, and cloud governance principles.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation tooling, and cloud platform engineering best practices.
Understanding of datacenter technologies including virtualization, storage, and networking.
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical mentoring skills.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.
Experience leading cloud modernization, migration, or workload transformation initiatives.
Experience developing reusable automation frameworks and engineering standards consumed across infrastructure teams.
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence Operations (AIOps), advanced observability platforms, and emerging cloud automation technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud platforms that align with enterprise standards.
Own cloud subscription design, identity integration, networking patterns, platform services, governance controls, and cost management practices.
Translate architectural standards into repeatable platform implementations and lead adoption of automation-first and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell.
Improve platform reliability, observability, recoverability, and operational efficiency through monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and AIOps capabilities.
Support cloud modernization initiatives including workload migrations, application refactoring, and platform standardization efforts.
Mentor Cloud Engineers and Associate Engineers, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, and contribute to engineering standards and reference architectures.
