About The Position

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Clinical Training & Medical Education Specialist to join their Endovascular Robotics (EVR) business within Advanced Therapies. This role is crucial for developing and leading the global physician, clinical staff, and internal training strategy for an advanced endovascular robot for neurovascular interventions. The position is embedded within the Chief Medical Officer organization and aims to transform neurovascular intervention through robotics, image guidance, and dedicated devices, enabling greater precision, procedural consistency, and expanded access to minimally invasive care. The ideal candidate will have experience in the neurovascular space and a passion for physician education, procedural training, and innovation. This individual will be the primary clinical education lead within EVR, responsible for coordinating, integrating, operationalizing, and disseminating training content across the organization, while collaborating with various Siemens Healthineers teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; RT, Nursing, Clinical Specialist, or equivalent healthcare background preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant clinical, procedural, or medical device experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in neurovascular, endovascular, interventional radiology, cath lab, or related procedural training/clinical support environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of neurovascular or endovascular procedural workflows and clinical environments.
  • Experience training physicians and hospital staff on complex procedural technologies or medical devices preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage physicians, technologists, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, early-stage innovation environment with significant cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer training and physician education activities.
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in neurointerventional procedures.
  • Experience developing structured physician education curricula or simulation-based training programs.
  • Prior experience supporting product launches, early feasibility studies, or adoption of new procedural technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead EVR’s physician, clinical, and internal training programs in collaboration with the CMO office and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary clinical education lead within EVR, helping coordinate, integrate, and operationalize training content across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Siemens Healthineers Advanced Therapies training and education teams to help shape and refine training curricula, educational materials, simulation activities, and digital learning content specific to endovascular robotics workflows.
  • Partner with Product Management, Clinical, and Engineering teams to consolidate and translate product-specific knowledge into effective physician, staff, and field training programs.
  • Build and continuously refine a differentiated education and training ecosystem for physicians, technologists, clinical specialists, and commercial teams.
  • Develop and implement structured training pathways for physician users and hospital staff focused on safe and effective robotic-assisted neurovascular procedures.
  • Develop and deliver internal education programs for clinical specialists, field personnel, and sales managers in collaboration with the broader Siemens Healthineers organization.
  • Lead and support hands-on procedural training sessions, simulation-based education, physician labs, workshops, and customer site onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with key physician users and clinical stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve training content, workflow integration, and user experience.
  • Partner closely with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Product Management, Engineering, Human Factors, and Training teams to ensure all educational content aligns with safety-critical requirements, intended use, product labeling/IFU, and evolving clinical workflows.
  • Support development of scalable global education infrastructure, including digital learning modules, procedural workflows, competency assessments, and certification pathways.
  • Represent EVR at physician education programs, conferences, and customer engagements as a clinical and training expert.
