About The Position

The Senior Clinical Application Analyst supports the effective use of the electronic medical record, financial applications, and other healthcare technology systems in a rural critical access hospital environment. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, financial, vendor, and information technology teams to design, build, configure, test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications in ways that are practical, reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with patient care and operational needs. The analyst must be able to work independently, shift between priorities, communicate clearly with end users, and use sound judgment to escalate issues that affect patient safety, privacy, security, access, revenue cycle, or business continuity. Works on projects of broad scope or complexity and may lead smaller-scope projects, including coordinating tasks, communicating progress, identifying risks, documenting decisions, and escalating issues as appropriate. This senior-level role independently manages complex application support needs, coordinates assigned projects, mentors or supports less experienced analysts when applicable, and serves as a primary resource for high-impact clinical, financial, and operational application issues.
