About The Position

Drive revenue growth by strategically managing client relationships, generating new and existing sales, and delivering AT&T products, services, and/or solutions to address customers’ strategic business priorities. This role is primarily responsible for field-based, customer-facing sales activities, including identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and securing customer commitments, orders, or contracts. This field-based sales role’s primary duty is making sales, generating orders, or securing contracts for products and/or services. The employee is customarily and regularly engaged away from the employer’s place of business, including meeting customers in person at customer locations, prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and securing commitments. This role is expected to perform sales activity outside of the employer’s place of business more than 50% of the time. Administrative, internal, and customer support work must be incidental to and in support of outside sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Current sales experience within the past 2 years
  • 5+ years of sales related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, build, and maintain long-term client relationships. Understand their needs, utilize consultative skills to close sales, and deliver tailored customer-facing presentations, primarily in person at customer locations or other field-based sites, to secure new or expanded business.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new opportunities and expand existing accounts, meeting, or exceeding revenue targets. Conduct prospecting, territory development, and account planning activities to identify, advance, and close sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Apply market and customer insights to position solutions during sales meetings and presentations.
  • May support the development and submission of detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities when directly related to sales opportunities and incidental to primary outside sales responsibilities.
  • May support resolution of customer disputes and account discrepancies when necessary to facilitate ongoing sales activity, protect customer relationships, or support account growth.
