As a Senior Client Service Representative, you will work with complex clients to address inquiries and manage information regarding employee benefits coverage and administration with minimal advisor oversight. Requirements

  • Successful completion of LLQP and Life License required. (or obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • Minimum of three to five years’ experience in the employee benefits industry in a client facing role.
  • Possess or be actively working towards a GBA, RPA or CEBS’ designation.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Exceptional organization and time management.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with appropriate level of discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex clients (fully insured, ASO, refund accounting etc)
  • Communicate and liaise with insurance carriers and clients to resolve benefit inquiries, challenges, and claims issues, while advocating for the client and ensuring prompt and thorough handling.
  • Service clients proactively by trying to anticipate and address their needs and keeping them up to date with relevant benefits information.
  • Manage all aspects of new client implementation and plan transfers, including master application and employee enrolment documents.
  • Handle all matters relating to plan amendments, including pricing requests and employee communication bulletins.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings and follow through with action items in a timely and concise manner.
  • Deliver employee benefits administration training and employee education sessions to clients.
  • Review and deliver to clients group insurance contracts and booklets from insurance carrier
  • Champion HUB initiatives and processes
  • Collaborate with internal lines of business
  • Other duties as assigned
