About The Position

In this position, the incumbent will begin their insurance brokerage training and development journey and is responsible for supporting assigned service teams by providing excellent service and deliverables to internal stakeholders in accordance with Hylant standards. This role involves growing and developing knowledge in insurance as well as Hylant’s servicing tools and processes to obtain a Life & Health Insurance License. The associate will cross-train to support all benefit functions including implementation, advocacy, compliance, marketing, member engagement, health strategies, and data analysis. The role provides high-volume tactical client service support to client service teams as requested, including running and distributing reports, reviewing and entering information into systems, liaising with external partners, gathering and distributing information for client deliverables, and assisting in the preparation of client presentations. Additionally, the associate will provide backup to local administrative support and perform other duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Active Life & Health License, or the ability to obtain within 100 days of employment (limited exam attempts) and maintain in good standing.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize with effective results.
  • Intermediate to advanced communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Internship or exposure to a professional work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide backup to local administrative support as requested.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
