Performs word processing, typing and proofreading of letters, documents and memorandums of more than average difficulty from clear copy, rough draft, recording machines or data personally developed. Welcomes visitors, responds to their inquiry and/or directs them to the appropriate person. Operates copying machines to duplicate various forms, bulletins and notices. Organizes and maintains office files. Maintains inventories of books, supplies and materials used in the school and prepares requisitions for new material as required. Answers the telephone and performs any other tasks as directed by the Principal.
