About The Position

The Senior Class Sponsor directs activities and coordinates a program that allows students to develop their interests. The sponsor provides leadership for organizing and supervising class activities, setting directions and expectations for students, and monitoring students’ eligibility and academic progress. The Activity Sponsor reports to the athletic director and building principal. This position is at Centaurus High School in Lafayette, Colorado, and is scheduled from November 9, 2026, through May 20, 2027.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and submit the BVSD online application.
• Be able to communicate in English (read, write, and speak).

• Availability after school, in the evenings, and on weekends.
• Knowledge of all aspects of high school activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience working with high school students.
