About The Position

The Senior Claims Analyst works closely with process leaders to develop KPIs, enhance operational reporting, perform analytics to highlight process opportunities, complete month-end close responsibilities, and analyze financial data to identify areas of opportunity for the organization. The role retrieves and mines data from key systems, prepares reporting and analysis, and collaborates with stakeholders and management to identify savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of comparable experience.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
ERP system knowledge.
Willingness and ability to be a self-starter and take initiative to solve problems.

Ability to analyze problems, compile data, determine facts, and reach logical conclusions.

Responsibilities

Retrieve and mine relevant data from key systems, including SAP, AS400, Facets, and Business Objects.
Prepare month-end reporting and analysis.
Perform financial and operational research and prepare analyses such as claim analysis, collection rates, and productivity reporting.
Compile or prepare reports, graphs, and charts from developed data.
Analyze claim data, provide reporting and trend analysis, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
Cooperate with other departments and stakeholders in preparing and reviewing analyses.
Track, report, and analyze financial and operational performance measurement indicators.
Prepare special claims and operational reports, quantifying savings and process opportunities.
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, research, analyze, and summarize financial and operational data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
