Requirements

• High school or G.E.D. equivalent
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Proficiency in using computers and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
• Ability to meet or exceed established Performance Standards
• Effective time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Licensure in any insurance discipline is a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, providing engagement, support, and advocacy for customers and agents reporting new claims or seeking information on existing claims.
• Assist customers with electronic request processing, including first notice of loss, inquiries, and policy research.
• Gather data and pertinent information related to customer or agent loss and complete a first notice of loss record via phone, email, and/or chat for property, auto, casualty, and other lines of insurance.
• Offer services such as towing, rental car, temporary housing, coverage verification, and policy details.
• Maintain a high level of training and competency in policy, procedure, and systems in a rapidly changing environment, working autonomously.
• Advocate on behalf of the customer and agent to enhance the Claims experience through improvement ideas, escalating concerns, and recognizing opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility during weather or other events that may require overtime or overnight support.
• Obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure if one is not already held.
